If ya’ll follow on Instagram, you’ve seen my funny saga trying different Whole30 approved bars. So far I’ve found nothing I actually want to eat.  So I made my own little Whole30 snacks!  These were fast and easy to make, and taste great.  I’ll definitely be adding some cacao chips to this recipe, after Whole30 is over of course.

How to Make your Whole30 Snacks:

  1. Whip the almond butter and applesauce together.  Slowly add the bone broth collagen powder and a little cinnamon to taste.  Place in the fridge.
  2. In a separate bowl mix the coconut flakes and flax seeds.
  3. Take the almond butter out of the fridge.  Roll into inch width balls and then roll in the coconut and flax seed mixture.
  4. Wrap and place them back in the fridge to enjoy!

Those look yummy and sound like a tasty little snack. They sound like they would be healthy for my grand children as well and they will think its sweet an sugary. I gave up bread long ago, however I seem to make up for it with other unhealthy foods.

I have a handful of friends who are doing the whole 30 diet thing. They love it! A bit too strict for me, but I will definitely share this with them!

These energy bites look like they would be incredible. I am always down for things like this to give me some more fuel for the day.

These look delicious! I never used to like coconut, but as I start adding it to a few things here and there the taste is growing on me. We make some protein/energy bites, but nothing like this before!

I make a similar energy ball but I use dates rather than bone broth (I’m vegan). Really love making them a little different each batch. Sometimes I’ll add dried fruit, or different nuts. If I’m getting real outta my box I’ll roll em in cocoa powder!

Those look delicious! I did the Whole 30 challenge back in January. I am a total snacker and it was so difficult to find snacks that were filling. I loved eating so cleanly though.

There’s no denying Whole30 is a big commitment in all sorts of ways, but for the time-strapped, one of the biggest challenges of the regimen can be finding a way to eat healthfully and compliantly when you’re on the go but feel a fit of hangry coming on.
