Speaking of chocolate milk, it is a VIP staple in my post-workout shakes.  And this recipe I’m about to share with you is so delicious you won’t even taste the healthy.  The secret ingredient?  fairlife.  I always have a half gallon of fairlife in my fridge as my husband loves to have a glass every night before bed.  Then one day I used it in my protein shake and fell in love.  You all know how important all-nautral and healthy food is to me, and this chocolate milk is no exception.  It’s got 50% more protein and 30% more calcium than other brands, but contains no growth hormones and is ultra-filtered for the best taste possible.  Add in flax seed for omegas, a banana for Potassium, and protein powder for an extra muscle boost and you’ve got one heck of a shake!
Ingredients

  •  2 cups fairlife
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (my favorite is AboutTime)
  • Garnish with granola
You can get all of these ingredients at Kroger!

Directions
  1. Put chocolate milk, frozen banana, flaxseed, cocoa powder and protein powder together in blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.  Should have the same consistency as a milkshake.
  3. Garnish with granola and Enjoy!

  1. I've never heard of Fair Life Chocolate Milk (or any milk from them). How does the filtering system work? What is filtered out? Sorry for all the questions, just very curious!
