10 Week Bump Update

Ok just writing “10 Week Bump Update” is so surreal to me.  There’s a human growing inside of me? WHAT?!  I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t heard bump-bumps heartbeat last week.  Oh my is that the sweetest sound.  Also, if you’re wondering the context behind the picture above, we were at the beach trying to explain to Hudson that there was a baby in mommy’s tummy.  He was NOT a happy camper.
Here’s my almost 10 week bump!  I promise I’ll start doing cutesy weekly photos next week, I just couldn’t even this week.  It’s pretty small in the morning, but by eight at night I look more like 4 months along.

So far this pregnancy is already SO different than my first.  I have been nauseous all day, every day, for the last six weeks.  Just the thought of any food besides crackers makes me gag.  It’s pretty pathetic.  Until 8 PM and then the nausea disappears and I am ravenous.  Which is unhealthy and terrible for my metabolism, I know.  But a girl’s got to eat!  My cravings though- so bad.  Anything unhealthy, I want it.  I’m trying SO hard to be good and most of the time I do find a healthier option.  But I’d be lying if I said I haven’t indulged.  And I don’t feel bad about it.

My workouts?  Eh between my sprained ankle and the nausea all I can say is I’m doing the best that I can.  I still manage to get some kind of exercise in 5 days a week, but it’s nothing like my training before.  I am looking forward to the second trimester when, hopefully, this darn nausea will go away and I can get back to it.
Hormones have made me slightly crazy, caused a huge nasty breakout in the beginning, and are causing all sorts of sob fests if Hudson does anything sweet.  I’m pretty sure the hubbs is sleeping with one eye open, just in case I decided to suffocate him in his sleep.  Which I would never do honey, I promise 😉
Overall I’m feeling ok.  I know I am extremely blessed to be pregnant again and I totally appreciate and love this miracle.  I’m just not feeling myself.  I do have my 10 week appointment coming up and I’m getting all my blood work done- including the gender test!  What do you think little bump bump is?

  1. So cute! I hope your nausea goes away soon. I am sure that hinders small things in your everyday life. I love your family picture on the beach! very cute!

  2. I give you credit for even entertaining the idea of exercising! The First trimester is so hard, I couldn't pick myself up of the couch (and I didn't even have it as bad as most of my friends. I hope you have a nice, easy pregnancy!
