Hudson’s Birthday at the Park

Well yesterday was just the sweetest.  We had a fun filled day, including a little party at the park for Hudson.  I may have teared up (just a little) over how happy he was!  We’re pretty blessed with some awesome friends that made his day extra special.
P.S. This and the next picture are by Love, Joleen 😉
I wanted to keep his party simple.  We did a Thomas the Tank theme, with lots of blue and red.  Decor wise I got: lots of balloons, some fun bowls and streamers from the Target dollar section, a plastic table cloth, also from Target, the Entertaining Shoppe’s Party in a Can, Resqueeze packets, and my Re-play Recycled Patriotic Set.
My two favorite kid-friendly products right now (BOTH in my HUGE giveaway).  Resqueeze packets are so fun for my smoothie loving son, so I thought I’d share with his friends.  I made a strawberry sorbet for them all to enjoy and the kids loved them!  The bright colors, homemade deliciousness, and ease of use make these perfect for babies and toddlers.  Don’t you worry, they’re BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free.
Then there’s Re-play Recycled Patriotic set!  Also BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free.  I used my set to divvy up all the snacks for the toddlers, and the colors were perfect for the party!  Not pictured is the sippy cup which does. not. spill.  I’m not lying to you.  After buying every sippy cup out there, you can trust me on this one.
The favor pails for the little nuggets!  I filled it with fun $1 store goodies from Target- light up balls, lizards, bubbles, and Annie’s gummies.
The most delicious cupcakes by our friend Julia!
My favorite item made by the Enteraining Shoppe, and that’s saying a lot.  But what’s cooler than a Party in a Can??  Pop the top and out comes beads, a crown, a Happy Birthday sign, a sparkler candle, a popper, and a little bazooka.  Totally topped off the decorations AND was such a fun addition.  I’m definitely giving these away as gifts!  P.s. they have a Kickstarter campaign that you need to check out!
Thank you to all of our friends, who made yesterday so special.  There’s nothing better than seeing your little be loved on like that.
