My love of Maxi Cosi is well-known by now. I am especially fond of their Pria 85 Convertible Car Seat. Both Hudson and Henley use this seat and it has made all the difference. Here is a full review of the Pria 85 convertible car seat, including the new Sweater Knit collection.
Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Sweater Knit Collection
The Pria 85 is my favorite convertible car seat for several reasons. First, and most important, are the safety features. It has an unheard of weight range from 14-85 pounds, and allows your child to rear face up to 40 pounds. The headrest is also built with Air Protect® technology to keep baby’s head safe, especially during side impact accidents. Each Maxi Cosi car seat is also built with FlexTech™, which is an interior structure that properly distributes energy during an accident, decreasing the odds of a fatal injury.
But there are other perks to this seat. As a mom, we all worry about ease-of-use and ease-of-cleaning. The Pria 85 is built to be less cumbersome than other car seats, and has a very simply installation system. What I love about it though, is the removable car seat pad. Thats right, you can pop that car seat pad off and throw it in the washing machine! the same can be said for the harnesses. So if your little one has a blow out or food mishap, it’s easy to clean up.
The new Sweater Knit collection is an extension of this great car seat. Made with the softest sweater material, it adds even more comfort to the already so soft seating of the Pria 85. You can also get it in the Mico Max 30 for newborns. There are three colors- a soft grey, this periwinkle blue, or a pale pink. I was torn between the pink and this blue, but the color reminded me of Henley’s eyes so I had to get it. Every time someone sees this car seat they exclaim over how pretty and soft it is. If you are expecting or know someone expecting, this car seat is the perfect shower or holiday gift.
